This recipe is very good . I used Venison, instead of beef (request of ny hunter hubby It was great I added some Fiesta Lime Mrs Dash to meat and used canned chiles . This was my first tikme making chimmis and it was a hit. My husband said they were as good as the ones his friends from Mexico make ."

This is easy and delisious, Ive also made it with chicken. But the best is leftovers for nachoes. Take tortilla chips and put a smear of nacho cheese then a 1/2 teaspoon of meat mix , top with shreaded cheese of your choice. bake till cheese melts. This is one of my best tailgate recipes. Cant make them fast enough!!!!

I have made this three times already. It has wonderful flavor and is very tender. The key is making sure it is shredded very well. I have made them for my friends and everyone tells me they are amazing. I highly recommend this recipe.

This recipe is absolutely delicious, but I would definitely not put it in the easy category. It was definitely worth the work! Better than any restaurant chimi.

My entire family LOVED these. Finding a recipe for 6 people to enjoy is hard work but this recipe fits the bill. I left the meat to sit for a few days after I did the initial cooking and boy did it come out aweseome! Bon Apetite.

the meat was so tender I only used a 1lb chuck steak and cooked it for an hour and then used the food processor to chop. I had no problem with them staying closed I used toothpicks and only 11/2 inch of oil and cooked one at a time they came out perfect. It was perfect for two people. Added recipe to my collection.

There's no need to go to the local mexican restaurant any longer to get chimichangas. These are better than their. They're great, my family loves them. Have any good Chicken Chimichanga receipes?

Very good, but would be easier if I had a deep fryer. Its hard to keep the tortillas closed.
