I made these yesterday for the first time and they turned out perfectly. These are absolutely amazing, the cake is light and moist, the cannoli cream is delicious, and the whipped cream ties the whole thing together. The only reason that I could think of for some one not liking this recipe is if they don't like cannolis to begin with.

Not sure what genocidalmartyr and everyone else did that said that this was good. I agree with kristinmusic636 not good at all. The cupcake had no flavor and the filling was not. Didn't even go as far as wasting the ingredients for the whipped cream. And Yes I followed all the steps and got all the ingredients listed. Ended up in the trash second recipe that has failed me from this show. Needless to say will stay away from cupcake wars recipes. :( YUCK

Wonderful! The cake was light and moist, the filling was creamy and complemented the cake. The whipped cream topping just added the cherry on top!

I gave this a 4 star because, fortunately for me, I live pretty close to Sugar Bakery and these don't compare to the "real thing!" The cupcakes in the bakery are a 10 star! Don't use part skim milk ricotta. I made that mistake and it came out too watery, so after a trip to the store for the whole milk ricotta, it came out thick and creamy like it is suppose to be. A lot of work. I'll buy them next time!

These cupcakes are incredible! Super easy to make and they look so nice. I piped the whipped cream on top with a pastry bag instead dropping a dollop on them. The cake is delicious, moist and light at the same time. These will definitely be added to my favorites!
