These are delicious! I ended up with 42 cookies, but I guess the more, the better : I didn't change anything in the recipe. It was perfect...as you can expect coming from Elizabeth Falkner.

Best cookies ever! Crisp edges and soft chewy centers just the best!

I tried this recipe. Followed instructions for keeping the margarine cool, measured all ingredients exactly, refrigerated for 48 hours, and all I got was hard cookies. Reduced the cooking time down to 7 minutes, rotated after 4 minutes, still got brown rocks. Going to back to Pillsbury ready to bake.. sigh...

i am making these cookies right now & just tried one fresh.. OMG BEST THING EVER! be sure not to mix the dough too much (thats why some people's cookies came out flat.. just mix by hand i used peanut butter and chocolate chips.. so glad i did, best of both worlds.. the edges of the cookie are so sweet and crisp while the rest of the cookie is soft and moist..

so glad i am making these right now!

Absolutely beautiful and fool-proof recipe and I am no baker, just a cook. I love that they are not overly sweet but still moist and chocolatey. I would suggest you err on the larger side of a standard cookie and let the dough rest ideally for 24 hours. Makes all the difference! Enjoy.

Followed the recipe precisely. Dough was very wet and cookies flattened out almost immediately. Not aesthetically pleasing and ok tasting. Wouldn't use this recipe again.

This are seriously the best chocolate chip cookies I have EVER eaten (and I've eaten a lot of them. The only thing is I only got about a dozen and a half out of them, so maybe I made my cookies too big.

I made these cookies for my boyfriend's dad for Father's day. They were a BIG hit! The recipe is a keeper.
