This satisfied my chocolate sweet tooth. It is easy to make and I loved the crust. I couldn't find the chocolate graham cracker crust but the honey one did just fine. My friends and family loved it too.

I have made this 4 times now and every time I do- everyone wants the recipe. LOVE LOVE IT. I couldn't find chocolate graham crackers, so I used Teddy Grams. Same thing.

We didn't have chocolate graham crackers so we used regular honey graham crackers. Still turned out amazing! We plan to make this again tonight for company, but will add a little cinnamon to the chocolate to add a little extra flair. Enjoy!

I made this for a group of friends. It was very easy to make. I added peanut butter as I love that combo with chocolate. I added about 1/4 cup peanut butter with the chocolate as I poured the cream into the chocolate to melt it. Otherwise followed the recipe as written. I let the tort sit overnight in the fridge. The tort got rave reviews from all who ate it. I will make this again for a special occasion!

I had frozen the bottom part of a red wine-chocolate cake that I had sheared off to make a cake level...so I crumbled that and used that for the crust...the chocolate chip-whipping cream mixture totally set up properly...looks beautiful!

Considering the comments about way too sweet I opted to use dark choclate chips -v- semi sweet, and Lehua honey which is a lighter honey. Worked like a charm. Second time I made this I made it for a friend who cannot have dairy; so I used cashew cream instead of whipping cream, and Earth balance for the butter. It rocked her world.
ps: 2nd time I tried it I ran out of chocolate grahams so I had to use regular graham crackers for the crust to which I added 3 heaping tsp unsweetened cocoa.

I'm so glad I didn't make anyone any promises for tonight's dessert. I need to now head over to the store to get more chocolate. The filling is JUST NOT ENOUGH. It looks like a sliver of jam over the crust. Luckily, the recipe is so easy that I'll be able to make more filling tomorrow and just layer it on into the pan that's sitting in my fridge right now. I'm considering more cream/less chocolate to make the taste less arresting on the palatte.

I made this for my mom for Mother's Day and WOW was it sweet! Making it was a breeze and it looked beautiful before I cut it. My only snag was I had a hard time cutting it nicely. On the show, Giada's seemed to set up better than mine did despite leaving it in the refrigerator over night. I don't know what happened. Anyway, it was still really really good but really really SWEET! I would say this is awesome to make if you want a super chocolate sweet fix and don't want to worry about devouring the entire thing in one sitting because you really can't do that with this. Half of a piece is more than satisfying. It is very good but the outrageous sweet factor and my issue with presentation after cutting makes me knock it down one star. However, it is still a great recipe to try out and it is delicious.
