good but plain before adding the tomato i deglazed the pan with red wine added the tomato also added some stock and basil served it on grilled bread with a sprinkle of cheese

I grow my own tomatoes and parsley and I find this recipe quick and easy and absolutely delicious! I will never buy jarred sauce again.

The sauce is great to make but I still need to learn how to chop.
