Terrible!!! Does food network test these out? For one review below, your mothers biscuit dough must have been better than store bought. I took a bite and threw it in the garbage. What a waste of ingredients.

I used to make these with my mama when we had left over biscuit dough. Ours were sort of crunchy but they were good. I have never used the pie crust that was mentioned. Maybe that made the difference. Lots of cinnamon and sugar is the key...

My mom and I always make this with our leftover pie crust. Instead of leaving it as a log before baking, we slice it into about 1/2 to 3/4 inch slices, like little cinnamon rolls, and put some more butter and sugar on the top. They don't last long at our house!

My mom and I tried these and they did NOT turn out well. The instructions were not clear, and I think we rolled the dough too tightly. The outside got overcooked and flaked off when we cut the roll, but the inside was still completely doughy. My advice to anyone else who tries this recipe: roll the dough loosely and make it flatter like in the picture...it might help them cook all the way through better.

This reminds me of the cinnamon crust Mom made with her left over pie crust. Brings back good memories of childhood. This is simple to make and my grandchildren enjoy making something they can make without adult help.
