I make this salad at least once a week, especially since it is the height of tomato season! I make the homemade croutons, because I think they are really worth the small amount of work, but I've also changed up the flavor a little bit by reducing different flavored balsamic vinegars! I have a raspberry balsamic and a pomegranate balsamic and it adds just another layer of flavor. I sometimes toss in some fresh mozzarella as well. LOVE this recipe!

I used some crusty sandwich rolls that I had & instead of seasoning with salt & pepper, I used a little bit Paula's house seasoning. I only had about a pound & a half of regular red grape tomatoes & no cucumber so I thinly sliced a small sweet onion in place of the cuke. Everything else I made as directed & it was wonderful!!! A keeper that I will make again.

So easy and so delicious! I did substitute store bought seasoned croutons from the bakery dept. at the supermarket in place of the homemade. Other than that, I followed exactly. I was quite surprised by how tasty the reduced balsamic vinegar was. Loved it! I was never a huge fan of cucumbers, but mixed in with the baby heirlooms and the wonderful dressing, I've been won over. Will definitely be making this again!

This was so delicious and super easy to make! Instead of using basil-infused olive oil, I used dried basil with olive oil for the bread, and it was so good...you could use that bread as an appetizer/accompaniment for any meal. I tore up fresh basil leaves for the final mixing of the salad. The balsamic vinegar reduction was sooo good...I've never done that before, but I loved the lightly sweetened taste it added to the dish. I will definitely be making this again and again!

I saw this show a few days ago, and I bought all the ingredients at the farmers market, yesterday. Was very excited to try this recipe, since I love summer heirloom tomatoes. This salad is delicious, and the basalmic vinegar.. . what a surprise. The salad is so simple, and easy to make. It was a big hit with my family, and I will surely make it again. Yummy!

This was wonderful; I cut most of the ingredients in half for my husband and myself, added a little lemon vinegar, leftover red pepper and red onion that I had along with some fresh basil and it was wonderful, my husband enjoyed it as much as his grilled steak and that says alot!...Definitely a keeper...Claire, I am a fan!!

I think the balsamic reduction is the star of this dish---more delicious than I ever would have imagined! I didn't have any basil-infused olive oil, so I just mixed some homemade pesto into the balsamic reduction after it cooled.
