This has to be one of the most delicous things I've ever eaten. Add that it is quick and can be done with ingredients you already have (I didn't have frisee, so used fresh collard greens. Together with whole grain toast and a broiled tomato topped with parmesan, it was the perfect meal on a cold night. Forgive my taking liberties, but I will be doing this again with fresh spinach and piling the toast, salad, tomato, parmesan, egg and bacon all in one big bowl. I guess I'd better go and get a bigger fork now!

Hi, Claire, do you ever read these comments? I have a question. When I do poached eggs in the fashion you showed on the show I often get something that looks like egg drop soup rather than a neat little poached egg. Any suggestions like the stir-it-up-whirlpool technique? All comments welcome. I will try this recipe tomorrow and post the results, the only part I am not confident with is producing a neat poached egg.
