Quick, easy and very tasty. Added some granulated garlic to the turkey.

Excellent! Definitely a keeper. We just moved and didn't have many groceries in the house. I needed something yummy that didn't require a lot of ingredients. I stumbled on this recipe and thought I'd give it a try, and I'm sure glad I did. It's so simple and easy to make. Oh and I used beef instead of turkey because that was all I had on hand. The meat didn't need any other seasoning, but I'm sure it'd still be yummy if it had a little something extra in it!

I'm trying to be healthier and work into my diet recipes with ground turkey instead of beef. The caramelized onions are a great topping and the potato rolls are delicious. Next time I will take the advice of other reviewers and use extra seasoning in the meat. I loved the fact the patty stayed moist from the addition of water to the meat!

This recipe is very easy and so so tasty. At our house we even make them in full size burgers using sweet baby rays bbq sauce. Awesome! I will make this recipe again and again in the future.

Oh my gosh, can you just say delicious? Went out of my comfort zone and tried this, and have made it many times. I add garlic powder, cayenne (or chili powder, salt, pepper, and onion flakes in the meat. I absolutely love this recipe, it is a go-to on a night when I don't feel like cooking!

Fantastic!! I used 1 lb ground (dark turkey and 1 lb 90% ground beef. I also flavored with more than salt and pepper - just the seasonings that I would usually put in hamburger. I did not add water to the turkey since ground beef has fat.

Those caramelized onions were AMAZING! I personally don't like onions but, i would even enjoy eating them plain! The patties were also amazing and i would definitely do this recipe again. Its cheap, easy, and fun to cook!!

The caramelized Onions and BBQ sauce jettison this recipe into a category that transcends the average burger. I normally cannot escape the temptation of the savory umami flavor that catsup adds to a burger. However, topping my burger with the caramelized onion and BBQ sauce made this burger a completely satisfying taste sensation that had me forgetting that catsup existed.
Variations on this burger include making sliders using ground beef rather than turkey, using market fresh dinner rolls rather than potato rolls, and adding cheddar cheese.
I also insisted on grilling all variations on a hot charcoal grill and toasting the buns on the grill as an added layer of texture that brought interest to the smoothness of the caramelized onion and BBQ sauce.
Thanks for another great recipe Claire!

My kids are difficult to please...this was a delicious meal, served with slow -baked sweet potatoes. I will keep the recipe in my arsenal. By the way, I made 12 patties, not 16__and added garlic to the mixture.

This was the first time I ever tried to make burgers, so I was a little surprised at how time consuming it is to make the patties; but overall the food tasted great; and the caramelized onions are really what makes the burger so tasty. I tried this with lean turkey (by accident, but it still tasted great. Next time, I will with a different meat, for variety.
