This recipes was super simple and tastest great! I just had to keep the steaks in the oven a little longer but that could have just been because of my oven. I would definitely recommend this recipes for anyone that loves bleu cheese.

    I LOVE THIS RECIPE!
I HAVE MADE IT AT LEAST SIX(6 TIMES WITH GREAT SUCCESS.
THE ONLY CHANGE I HAVE MADE TO THIS RECIPE IS THAT I SEAR THE FILLETS IN A PAN AND FINISH THE COOKING IN MY BBQ GRILL UNTIL COOKED TO TASTE.

I made this recipe for Father's Day dinner because my dad absolutely loves blue cheese. I used blue cheese instead of Roquefort or Stilton because both were just a tad bit too expensive consideriing the meat was very expensive! I made the blue cheese butter the night before to let it set and although it formed a more solid texture than when I put it in the fridge it did not hold up so well when I cut it to stuff the filets. I went with one reviewers advice and used one stick of butter and the full 6 ounces of blue cheese for 4 filets. I had 2 larger sizes filets and 2 medium. The next problem I encountered was that I seared the filets in the pan 2 minutes per side and 4 mins in a 400 degrees oven. That made it a rare degree of doneness but it was not what we were looking for, so I had to place the filets back in the oven for about 10mins to get to medium rare. All and all the flavor was absolutely phenomenal! It was great cutting into the filets and the oozing of the blue cheese coming out! As my dad says "blue cheese and beef were made for each other." True! I liked this recipe mainly because it did not call for many ingredients but it wasn't really anything new or more exciting than other stuffed meats I've done. But I look forward to the new season of 5 Ingredient Fix premiering on the Food Network. Good Luck Claire!

I am making dinner for Mother's Day and wanted to make this recipe, so I tried it out last night, and absolutely loved it!! I used a Danish bleu cheese since I already had it, and it was just delicious. If you really want to impress someone, this is the recipe to make. I like my steak medium to medium rare, so I seared each steak for about 1 1/2 min. on each side before putting them in the 400 degree oven for about 4 minutes and they were perfect. I plan to serve this with roasted asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. Thanks for this recipe Claire, I will stayed tuned in to your show.

My husband and I had this tonight, but we used blue cheese instead of stilton. My husband and I are going to make hamburgers and put the compound butter on top when they are just about done cooking, so it can melt on top the burger.

This is a great way to combine two things I love, Stilton and steak! This recipe couldn't be any easier. I didn't change a thing, and my girlfriend and I loved it. Since then, I've tried the same recipe with Gorgonzola instead of Stilton. That was wonderful, too, so not only is this recipe good as is, it's a great base for variations.

Unlike the reviewer Marsha, I'm willing to actually talk more about the recipe instead of complaining about what other people post and making stupid accusations.

This steak was terrific! I bought another blue cheese, as the stilton was quite pricey. It still turned out great!
This steak reminded me of an easier, simpler version of Giada's Petite Filet with Porcini Mushroom Gorgonzola Sauce. I'd give that a 10, this recipe gets an 8. It is delicious and easy to make!
