It?s sad you can?t expose the complete recipe. The dry rub ingredients would have been nice. I will find a good dry rub recipe and call it my own, thanks you for the 3B's recipe... Looking forward to cooking it outside in a dutch oven over charcoal.

I saw the show yesterday and picked up a brisket last night using a rub that I picked up from City Barbeque. I followed her instructions with the exception of substituting a cup of brewed hot coffee (had some left in my carafe from the morning for the ground coffee and subtracting that from the three cups of water for the braising liquid. I was a little worried because the meat had the look of an overdone roast, but once I cut into it, it nearly fell apart because it was so juicy and tender.

When I served it, my family including my wife's parents raved about it. The reduced braising liquid was so flavorful. My wife said she could eat it as soup! My kids 9 and 11 said it was delicious.

I served this along with her baked beans and the citrus salad but forgot the bleu cheese (still sitting in the fridge! grrr!

I highly recommend making this recipe!

Claire actually purchased her rub. She didn't make it. She talked about finding one that has all the grill flavors that you like including paprika.

So my dad and I bought a brisket today, came home and Claire's show popped up (divine intervention I'm guessing. We decided to try it out. Some of the best brisket I've ever had. Extremely tender. Will prepare brisket this way from now on. The 3 Beans were awesome too (use Maker's Mark, you'll be happy you did

This brisket sounds so yummy - going to the market to buy the brisket and sides so we can have them tomorrow.
