I made this for an appetizer for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it! Caramelizing the onions took much longer than 15 minutes, though - I'm not sure why this was the case (this was my first time making caramelized onions. The time it took was certainly worth it because the flavors were wonderful. I would definitely make this again.

Amazing! I made it as a Thanksgiving appetizer and it was a hit. I used Camembert cheese because there wasn't any Brie left at my grocery store, but I read that they're both pretty similar in taste. This recipe was so simple and really made an elegant and delicious appetizer! I also served it with some pita chips. A really delicious dish!

Beautiful! Love this recipe! Will do it again! I added brown sugar on top of the onions before I added the brie! Perfect!

I watched the show on Saturday last...today is Tuesday and I brought it to work for our 'snackies' before Thanksgiving...to RAVE reviews. I call it 'heaven on a cracker'!

I saw the recipe yesterday morning and was anxious to buy the ingredients today and did! To my surprise it is extremely easy to make and DELICIOUS! My family do not appreciate the taste of Brie so I will replace the cheese with mozzarela, ham, and tomatoe sauce. I rate this recipe 5 Stars but some reason the system is not letting me.

I made this tonight. It was SUPER easy and turned out absolutely wonderfully. The only thing is I didn't get a great Brie. It gushed open when cut into and was lovely! Everyone raved about it though.

Love this! She didn't use a cracker or anything on the show, and I don't think it needs it with the puff pastry. I'm not sure why it's intermediate because I am a total novice and it was no problem. I actually skimped on the onions because I thought it would be too much, but DON'T. Their flavor is amazing, and they really cook down, so don't skimp!

I think I will give this recipe a 5 to balance out buddyben's inappropriate rating. Buddyben, if salt/pepper and water have to count toward the 5 ingredients, obviously there will be few such recipes. If you cannot afford salt/pepper and water, perhaps leave those out and now you're down to the 5 that you have to buy.
