I agree that there was way too much lemon flavour,it almost tasted quite sour, other than that it was just ok, not the best but definately not the worst.

If you're not afraid to tweek a recipe, try this one. I made it per directions, and also found it to have a little too much lemon flavor for my taste. I drizzled honey; about 2 tsp total. I loved it, and will make it again. Be sure you know how to coddle an egg. The recipe called for a (1 minute coddled egg. Not much of a soft egg fan myself, I assumed this meant to boil for a minute. It apparently means to simmer for one minute. Next time.

I also saw this on her show, and was a little excited - I'm a vegetarian who often cooks for meat-eater friends, and it's always a bit tricky to tread that "not missing the meat" line for people who like salad and steak. This recipe was great!! I learned how to coddle an egg using it. Also had no special olive oil, so I just dropped two cloves, cut in half, inside my EVOO and let it sit for awhile. Everyone loved it. Four people went through two heads of romaine, tossed in this dressing with some parm and homemade croutons, in minutes. Absolutely delicious and I'll gladly make it again.

It was wonderful! I made this recipe for a dinner party and had 3 people ask for the recipe : I didn't have garlic infused olive oil so I used a clove of garlic and regular olive oil instead. It was lemony (as some of the reviewers have suggested but it was not overpowering, it lent a more refreshing flavor.I also added homemade croutons and some parmesan to the salad as well! All in all this one is a keeper!

Looked great on TV, but was terrible. I followed the recipe exactly. It had WAY too much lemon juice. I added some mayo, dijon mustard and parm cheese. Still not sure it's fit to eat. I will not make this again.

i was excited to try this after watching Ms. Robinson prepare it on her show, but it truly didn't measure up. After following the recipe exactly, i was left with a runny, fairly tasteless dressing. i added a squirt of Dijon mustard, which did help emulsify it a little, as well as more salt than i would normally use, but it still isn't something i'll try again.
