First of all...don't let this marinate for more than 30 min., & I would & did flip the bag after 15 min. I put everything in a big baggie to marinate. The lime will "cook" the chicken & make it white if you leave it any longer, it was already white around the edges at 30 min. Some marinades don't live up to the recipe, but we really liked this one. I used boneless skinless chicken breast, followed the recipe exactly, put it in the oven for 35 min., & it was moist & had the hint of citrus. We really liked it & I look forward to making this on the grill in the summer. Thanks Claire !!!!!

I was looking for a change of pace with boring chicken and this was delicious. I used boneless chicken breasts instead of the bone-in, skin-on breasts, but it was still great. I think it would be even better on the grill! I used a tip from a review and added a splash of OJ. I would definitely broil for the last part of the bake time.

Best chicken I have ever had; I used 2 pounds of chicken and kept the marinade the same. I would recommend doubling the marinade recipe if you use 4 pounds of chicken. The chicken had great flavor and came out moist and perfectly cooked!

Loved it -- I think the simpler the recipe is, the better it is. The chicken had a wonderful citrusy flavor and was absolutely yummy. Crispy on top and completely tender on the inside. I did cook mine at 400 degrees for the last 13 minutes. I also used an All Clad roasting pan with a rack which worked beautifully. If you want superior food you have to have great tools. I don't always use 5 ingredients only but I love Claire's recipes. They're easy, fun and absolutely delicious! This is a real winner.

The marinade looked and smelled great. But the chicken should have been turned for the last 15 minutes of bake time as the bottom side was white and unappealing. I didn't notice tasting any of the marinade once it was cooked. The chicken was good, but nothing special. Plus I am out the cost of the baking sheet that was under the rack since the sticky citrus drippings turned black and destroyed the pan.
