I tried this Dark and Spooky recipe with the unfiltered Bruce Cost Ginger Ale, it was awesome and everyone loved it at the party!

@ Chef #1089680 this is definitely one of our official drinks. Dark and Stormy's are always made with ginger beer to give it that extra kick and never ginger ale. You also need to use dark rum and Black Seal is the best. It is a good drink in fact I knocked back a few last weekend! Only giving it three stars because you HAVE to use the ginger beer otherwise it will not taste right!

It might have just been personal taste, but I was very disappointed with this drink. I like rum and ginger ale and lime, but the lime just took over the drink. Even cutting it down didn't make it much better. Will not be making this again.

I made this for our Halloween party and everyone loved it. I used the ginger ale from Whole foods that is calorie free so it was a low cal drink. I put black sugar around the rim of all of the glasses and made a pitcher in advance. Looked awesome with a gummy work to boot.

Very nice cocktail. The lime juice mellows out the sharp bite of dark rum and makes for a very refreshing drink!

I love rum and I love ginger ale so this makes sense. I do have to say that alcohol is usually measured in oz. not cups.

I made this tonight for my halloween party and me and my guests loved it!!! It's a little strong if you're not a heavy drinker but it was a huge hit. . . I bought several bags of gummy spiders that were different colours and substituted red sugar for the black and it was so much fun!!! The sugar I used was watermelon flavoured, and I barely had time to sit back and enjoy my drink before my guests were begging for another round!!!
