Delicious and easy! The lemon and the butter with the rosemary, is just a wonderful combination! My tongue was hit with a dance of flavor. Heads up, I did add one extra ingredient, I added sage to the butter, and made it into a buttered herb; then I rubbed the butter all over the skin and underneath the skin as well. Super yummy! Suprirsingly, no leftover turkey. That's how good it was!

Need more stars this was the best turkey I ever made, my dinner guests did nothing but rave! It was so easy and one guest commented "it brought out the flavor of the turkey that made it taste like turkey, not just poultry"....good analogy I thought. Will never make turkey any other way again....this was downright perfect. Thank you Claire for the recipe!

I made this turkey last year, it was my 1st time cooking Thanksgiving dinner. This turkey was a big hit and very easy! In the video Claire mentions when she adds the water it is the base to the gravy....however I don't see the recipe for the gravy. Can anyone else find it or know it?

I used this recipe to make my very first turkey last year and it was nothing short of a hit! I loved how easy it was, but it made me look like a holiday pro at the same time! Absolutely recommend!

This was my first whole turkey. I've sucessfully made 8 and 9 lbs turkey breasts before but was still a little concerned about attempting the whole bird. It was a big 24 pounder. It turned out excellent though! I started the turkey out breast side down for the first 3 hours and rotated it for the last 1 1/2 hours to brown the skin. It was so simple and delcious! Extremely moist and made wonderful gravy from the drippings. Thank you Claire for all the wonderful easy recipes! I also love your first cook book!

This was my first time ever making a turkey and it was delicious. My family and friends loved it. I didn't see the episode, I just made the recipe and did baste every half hour. Also, I seasoned the turkey the night before and let it marinate overnight and for part of the next day. Thanks Claire for making things so easy for this first-timer! I will definitely make this again next year if not sooner.
