YUM! So delicious! And so easy! I did not have any white stone ground cornmeal, so I substituted it for quick cooking oats. It was a good decision, because the crunch of the oats added a wonderful texture to the cobbler. So good! A recipe keeper!

Note: The amount of butter in the recipe matches what Claire used on air. However those who feel it is too much butter, please adjust accordingly.

Yes, she used that much butter. 2 T? What channel were you on?? Music? Again, other viewers must watch a different channel than myself. There was no music! Swimming in butter? Sort of but as long as you followed the directions...piece of cake...or I should say piece of cobbler....LOL. Happy trails to everyone!

I haven't made it yet but will. The recipe calls for 1 cup butter but if you watched the episode she only used 2 tablespoons. Definitely do not use that much butter.

I just wasted blackberries. The recipe calls for way too much butter. At the end of the cooking time, the blackberries were floating in butter. I thought it seemed like a lot of butter; but I just trusted the recipe. It looked so good that I wanted to try it. :(

I thought it was great. I made the recipe for two, but don't generally use a lot of butter anyway. Made it for my mom, she loved it. Definitely going to make it again. Didn't quite get the idea of folding in frozen butter, next time I'll go from the fridge or at room temp.

I had to do some additions/revisions as my local store in Denver didn't have the white cornmeal that she used. I used Bisquick in place. I also didn't have the small ramekins she had. I used a small baking casserole dish ... 9x11 Regardless of all that ....it was awesome!

it is ok. i must not be a blackberry fan. the seeds are annoying along with the texture of the cornmeal. it was tolerable with vanilla ice cream! i won't be making this again
