this was a 5 before the cream sauce. I actually liked it better just roasted before adding the sauce. The sauce did not add to the flavor and made it a whole lot more unhealty...so it is not a plus for me. I will make it again...skipping the sauce.

Yum, a nice change from our standard steamed broccoli. I only had 1 head of broccoli on hand and was in a hurry to get dinner on the table so I skipped the roasting part. I just tossed the broccoli in the oil/orange juice then threw it all in the sauce pan to cook. It was taking longer than expected so I covered it which helped the cooking process and sauce thicken. I also skipped the blender step. I added sauted chicken strips and served it over wild rice. Great flavors. Delicious!

Tasty and easy! my hubby liked the orange, but im a lemon w/broccoli girl, and we had it w/fish, so i defly wouldve liked lemon better, next time, i'l either try it with orage chicken or lemon w/fish again. i actually think that i may simmer down the cream w/ orange sometime and pour over cake! great recipi Clair!!!

Wonderful! The second time I made this, I did not add any orange. I really missed it. I'm going to make this again for Easter. It should be interesting to see how my family reacts.

The cream sauce took about 25 minutes to reduce. This is a great recipe and have placed in my recipe binder to do again.

This is the first time I have roasted broccoli and it was amazing, I would love to have eaten it just roasted without the cream. I also loved the pairing of the orange with the broccoli. My boys have to have a starch so I added an additional cup of cream and a lil bit of flour and served the broccoli over egg noodles. It was good but my 16 year old said I could have just opened a can of cream of broccoli soup and add some fresh broccoli. I thought it was better than a can but will skip the cream part next time and just eat the roasted broccoli.

Well Scott apparently you can't count. There are 5 ingredients( salt and pepper are never counted as ingredients because everything practically gets those and even if you did count those it's still only 7 But who cares anyways you gave a recipe 1 star cause of your ignorance...I haven't tried this yet just watched today but plan to make it sounds superb.

Haven't tried it yet.. But I'm trying to figure out how this falls into the 5 ing. fix menu. When I look at the ings. list I see 8 ing. and with trying to show my daughter how to cook she said dad there are more then 5 ings. in that. Well how am I to tell her how to cook when the show she picked for us to watch doesn't count right?????
