This is a super simple recipe that does not only taste great, but it also smells amazing. I keep baking these just to keep my kitchen smelling like these cookies. Plus you do not need to use a food processor if you do not want to. I made them by mixing together the ingredients with a fork in a large bowl & they cookies turned out the same.

Very easy recipe. I made these for a cookie exchange. Love the texture of the cookie, but I would cut the amount of tea in half.

I used green tea bags, and I added orange zest and lemon extract. Delicious!

Loved it! Cookie Dough is the best. Very light it melts in your mouth. Next time I will have the Earl Gray tea so I can dunk the cookie in the tea.

Fabulous! It was the hit cookie at Christmas. Both of my daughters insisted on having this recipe. The best part of all is how easy it is to prepare. Thank you!

Great cookie. Tastes great and was easy to make. Definitely a keeper. Thanks to all who suggested other tea substitutions. I have a lot of fruit teas in the house from various gifts, and I don't like flavored tea. But they should work beautifully as a flavoring for cookies.

There is a martha stewart recipe for the same cookie but it has orange zest in it, and it makes all the difference. Try that.

At first, I thought these cookies were...ehhh. I hadn't waited for them to cool all the way. I waited for them to cool and then topped them with Amaretto Icing that Giada De Laurentiis makes. Wow!!! What a combo! The icing makes them even better when once the alcohol evaporates a bit out of the icing. They are still subtle but with a grown up flair to them. I will certainly make these again, especially around Christmas time! Can't wait!

These are wonderful and sooo easy. I would suggest using loose Earl Grey tea, rather than the tea bags. Teavana sells wonderful loose Earl Grey tea. I've tried it both with tea bags and with loose tea and the loose tea is so much better and more fragrant.
