I was excited to try this recipe...pizza's a fav in my house. I too tweaked the recipe a bit by adding crushed garlic, fresh chopped oregano, s/p to the ricotta before placing on the pizza. I made my own garlic infused oil and took it from there. Also added grilled chicken breast at my hubby's request which I marinated with the same ingredients for the pizza before cooking....garlic oil, crushed garlic, s/p, oregano. I frequently make pizza at home but never white pizza which is why I was excited to try it...not to mention, I had most of the ingredients on hand. Well, I must say that I will definitely be making this again 'cause it was a hit! Thx Claire for a great recipe!

I saw this recipe on her show Saturday morning and being a pizza lover, I had to try it. I figured I would spend the extra money to buy the garlic infused olive oil because of the comments that were posted. I bought the store pizza dough and used only about 2 cups of mozz cheese and probably about 6 teaspoons of part skim ricotta cheese. I didn't bake it nearly as long as directed...only about 20 minutes and it came out perfect. The garlic flavor was very noticeable but not overpowering. If you're not a huge fan of garlic then this might not be the pizza for you, but for my garlic loving husband and I....it was the perfect pizza!

This White Gourmet Pizza is the foundation for a wonderful creation. If you are just looking for someone to give you a meal then this is definitely not the one. You have to be able to take any already good recipe & make it your own. Maybe season your ricotta cheese before putting it on your pizza. I cook with garlic & onion powder with sea salt & pepper. Add more freshness like chives, dill, mushrooms & peppers. You can turn this into a dessert pizza by simply omitting the ricotta & adding a sweetened cream cheese mixture. You can top this with an apple or peach filling. The key to successful cooking is creativity. Claire gave us the foundation, now we have to start building!

This pizza is awesome! I used a few of my own touches to make the pizza better and it worked big time. I'm not a fan of ricotta and I wanted something a little more than just Mozzarella. So I used this three cheese blend with italian herbs and added a lot of Garlic and Oregano. And it worked perfectly! Plus I also made my own Pizza Dough which came out very fresh! I will definately make this pizza again next week for the Super Bowl.

This was so easy! I used Pillsbury refrigerated pizza crust (found next to the biscuits and it came out great. I used about 2 1/2 cups mozzarella, EVOO with minced garlic on top, ricotta, basil, and fresh oregano. It came out great! Just be careful not to use big dollops of the ricotta. Mine didn't really spread and were pretty thick when it was done. Be careful not to overcook. I baked at 375 for about 20 minutes. You can customize this pizza however you want - add spinach, tomatoes, basil, etc. I will definitely make it again.

After watching the episode yesterday...I couldn't wait to make this pizza! I didn't have garlic flavored olive oil on hand so I used reg. EVOO and crushed cloves of garlic in it and used that in place of premade stuff...The pizza turned out really bland and since everything else was used/done exactly like the recipe says, this is the only thing I can think of that made it this way. Next time I'll wait and buy the garlic flavored olive oil and maybe try it again...

I made this last night for my husband and I and WOW - I was blown away. So delicious and flavorful, I couldn't believe I had actually made it! I had gone to an Italian market to get high quality garlic-infused olive oil and fresh ricotta and I think it really made it. I wouldn't change a thing with this recipe! Will definately make again, now that I'm a gourmet pizza chef :

My husband and I saw this episode today and were really intrigued by this pizza. We were going shopping so we picked up the ingredients to make it for dinner. Seriously, don't waste your time or money. We both love white pizza, but this was the most tasteless pizza we'd ever tried.

Save your money...or use your money to get extra things to put on the pizza. Just don't think that these five things will come together to create something flavorful.
