I left out the salt on top, added chocolate chips on top at the end of baking. Very good.

These are a hit every time I make them. I like to add different fixings to them like trail mix or semi sweet chocolate chips

WOW! I couldn't believe that these were as good as they were. It was pretty much the easiest thing to make ever, too...

These are the best peanut butter cookies I've ever had and so easy. I love to cook, but not bake, so these were right up my alley. Absolutely wonderful!

I read the ratings before I made these. I've been making peanut butter cookies for years, and I was looking for an easier recipe. I noticed, along with others, that recipes with sugar leave the cookies very dry and gritty. I decided to make these a different way. I made them with the called for ingredients, only I melted the sugar and peanut butter together first. Then I put it in a bowl and put that bowl in an ice water bath. Once it was cooled I put it in a bowl I had the egg and vanilla extract premixed in. I rolled them into balls, then flattened them, and popped them into the oven. I switched them halfway through, like called for. Once they were done I tried them, hoping for a delicious cookie. The taste was not bad, but the cookie still broke apart. I'm going to keep searching for the perfect peanut butter cookie recipe, sadly this was not it.

I made these cookies today and did half of the batch just peanut butter, and the other half I did with chocolate chips, and either way they were delicious. I have a celiac in my family so I am always looking for gluten free recipes. I do wish Foodnetwork would challenge all of their chefs to do a show on this. It would also bring awareness. You never know if one of your loved ones will be diagnosed with this. Thank you for posting.
