I am so happy I found this recipe! My sister cannot have gluten, so when I saw this recipe on TV, I had to have it! Thanks for the amazing recipe, Claire!

What a surprise! I ground peanuts for the peanut butter (machine was at the store. The benefit of doing this is that there is no added sugar like there is in jarred peanut butter and it was fresh! I used all brown sugar and 2 tsp vanilla. They are soft, fluffy and delicious. On half of them, I added mini chocolate chips. Delicious!

@dixiechick1315.... the salt is to give it that sweet salty taste... if you want to maintain that sweet salty taste u can crush up salted peanuts n put them on top.... if you dont want to keep the salt taste then yes you can add brown sugar or something on top

Thanks, Miss Claire! Love you & your recipes. Made this over Memorial Day weekend for a family BBQ. So easy & so good. Especially loved this recipe because it's wheat free gluten free. Made them specifically for my Aunt, she was in heaven. The salt MAKES it! :

Thanks Claire for reminding me how easy these are. I first heard about this recipe from a friend that had a child that was allergic to wheat and gluten. I love the crunchy texture to these cookies!
Can't fail with this recipe!
I'm going to try cashew butter instead of peanut butter and I'll let you know how they turn out

I was literally watching you make these and got up and made them immediately after you did! they just looked too good and because of the simple ingredients, i had everything on hand and ready to go.
