This is better then the stuff you buy in the store. I added fresh parsley and dill to mine. It is awesome!!! You have to try this.

Eureka-I have found it! Just like the Black Eyed Pea used to serve in Herndon, VA. I added more buttermilk to cut the mayo flavor. My son doesn’t like onion bits, so I used a microplane for the garlic and onion—you HAVE to reduce the amount quite a bit when doing that. Taste is excellent. I added a little grated carrot just like the restaurant. Delish! Way to go, Claire!

Great recipe base, but needed a few herb additions like parsley and chives. Still great!

I was looking for a great alternative to bottled ranch and this was not it. It was very mayonnaise-y. I had to add 1/2 cup of sour cream just to cut the flavor of the mayonnaise. Even after I did that I was unable to eat more than 2 bites because it was SO garlicky! Just disgustingly garlicky! My family disliked it as well. Then I tried to make it without the garlic and it still wasn't right. I'm still on the lookout for a great buttermilk ranch recipe.

YUM. No need to try another recipe. Added 2T minced parsley, and will add minced chives when they're in season.

Delicious and easy to prepare! I made this for our salad and my husband told me not to bother with store bought dressing

Simple and scrumptious. The raw garlic is very strong so use a small clove or half of one.

So simple & so good. We are dill lovers so I usually add some dill along with chives since they are growing wild in my garden.
