This dressing is awesome and could not be any easier. I have now made it every week for the past three months. My son even loves it - better than that stuff out of the bottle :

We tried this recipe as a way of using up buttermilk my sister bought from a creamery in Maryland. It has a great flavor and super creamy texture, but the garlic/scallion combination is extremely strong. I ate a cupcake for dessert and found the dressing "lingered" over the sweetness in a very unpleasant way. I'll try to rehab the leftovers with more mayo but next time would definitely adjust ingredients to avoid tasting the dressing all night.

love this dressing, sometimes I use veganaise instead of regular mayo and sometimes I add more garlic or less and sometimes more green onion or less ... stays fresh for a week in fridge

Loved it, loved it, loved it! I buy the packets and make my ranch dressing from them, their is a slight taste difference but my husband and I both loved it and better yet it is so easy and quick to make. I will use this again for sure.

Very Retro. I think the classic is made with blue cheese dressing, but I'll try these version.

The recipe is super easy but it just hit it off well with me. At first I thought I liked it but as I ate my salad I found that the onion flavor was hot and a little overpowering. I will not make it again although I do enjoy watching the Chef and will try her other recipes.

It tastes almost like the little packets that made ranch dressing famous. A little too garlicky, but that's easily adjusted. And only 4 ingredients, go figure! Overall a winner- cheap, easy, and awesome. I'm going to try making it with a low fat mayo to make it healthy to boot! Thanks Claire for a great dressing recipe!
