I have always done the iceburg salad, but i tried it with this dressing and loved it.

Great dressing. I double the amount I made the first time and was glad I did. My daughter stated it smelled so good she could just drink it. I did add some dill as some other reviews suggested but really could not taste it. The garlic flavor shines through in this and overpowered the dill. The garlic was purchased at the Farmers Market and was stronger than store bought so that could be the reason why. I particularly liked this over some other homemade dressings in that, although thinner than storebought dressing, it still had good body and thickness compared to other homemade recipes and a great flavor with readily available ingredients. Iceberg lettuce is generally not my choice of lettuce but it's coolness and crunch were perfect on these really hot days. I added a little crumbled bacon and chopped tomato to the wedge just because I love that flavor combination so much in the summer.

I absolutely despise bottled ranch dressing - I refuse to put such a concoction in my mouth. I am a blue cheese type of guy - until now. I have friends who would have refused to have put a chive in their mouth...well they have now...and they did not even know it! They ranted and raved over this recipe. I can not keep enough of it made in the house. I make it at least two (2 times a week. GREAT recipe - so easy - so quick - and soooooooooo good.

YES! HAD MY DOUBTS, BUT MY FELLOW REVIEWERS CONVINCED ME TO TRY AND THEY WERE RIGHT. YES, YOU CAN 'GUSSY' IT UP TO YOUR OWN TASTES (SOMETHING WE DO ALL THE TIME OR TRY IT ALONE. FORGET THAT BOTTLED DRESSING WITH ALL THE UNPRONOUNCABLE INGREDIENTS. MAKE IT FRESH...YOU'LL ENJOY IT MORE!
