These are AWESOME and so easy. Mine didn't look quite as perfect as Claire's but they were a big hit.

My husband just loves these cookies. They are really easy to make and I have even been able to substitute the lemon with either lime or oranges. This is a recipe thst is a keeper in my books.

I Love them so much! I'm not a baker at all, but these are so easy to make and impossible to mess up. I almost never repeat a recipe but I've made these cookies several times. Easter is coming up and I'm adding a little food color to the icing. Pink, green, yellow and blue. They'll be pastel and the cookies come out a little bit oval so they'll look like an egg! Happy Baking!!! I LOVE THESE COOKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After reading some of these reviews I was skeptical about making these cookies, but I did and they are yummy!! The only change I made to the recipe was using 8oz. of cream cheese. Other than that I followed everything to the T and they came out great!

used 8 oz of cream cheese - also, baking 10 min is plenty - glad I did - they are very easy and wonderful - I had enough lemon juice left over (and added a little from a bottle - that I made lemon bars too as not to waste it.

These cookies have a great taste but the texture is horrible. There must be a mistake in the measurements of more than one of the ingredients in the recipe. The first batch came out like "hockey pucks"... hard and brittle & I only baked them 12 min. The following batches I baked only 11 min and at least they were slightly better but still very hard. I see many people made modifications in prior reviews...that's not a good sign that this is a good recipe. For the time it took to make the cookie...it is so disappointing the way they turned out. I am embarrassed to share these cookies with anyone besides my immediate family.

Very flavorful. Not what I would consider 'pie' but still good. I did add a bit of half and half to the frosting to make it a little thinner and lighter. It worked out great. Love Lemon! Nice job.

I don't know how Claire did it, but these really do taste like lemon pie! The recipe is very easy to follow, which is good for a baking novice like me. I thought the 20 minutes for baking the cookies might be too long so I watched them like a hawk. Eleven minutes was good for our oven. Other than that everything else was perfect and they taste SO good - especially with a nice cold glass of milk!
