These cookie were not very good :( She made them look so good on the show. Very blaw, not to exciting. I should have read the rest of the reviews and added more sugar than the recipe called for before I made the recipe. Very dissapointing.

These were soooo good. I just used the one cup of sugar in the cookie and they were awesome. Also using 8 ounces of cream cheese instead of 4 is a good call.

Great idea, poor recipe. Even though I chilled the dough before slicing and put the sliced cookies well over an inch apart on the sheet pan, they all ran together and turned into one enormous cookie while baking. The baking time was much less than 20 minutes also. The filling was good, but I didn't have any cookies to put it on as I had to throw the entire batch away. Very disappointing.

OMG!!!!! I think this is the best lemon pie cookies ever. The recipe is easy and the cookies are delicious. I cooked mine for 18 minutes. I used 2 sticks of butter and 1 cup of sugar. Save the other cup of sugar for the filling. This is a keeper!!!!!!

On the TV show she said 2 cups of sugar with the 2 sticks of butter for the batter and then another 1 cup of sugar for the filling. Can anyone confirm what they used? I want to try these cookies!

These lemon cookies rock - light, crisp and perfectly lemony! Because my dough was really, really wet & sticky, I wasn't able to roll it into a round log so my cookies were more oblong shaped - just like a Milano (which a friend mistakenly thought they were! Next time I'll forgo the cream cheese filling and lightly drizzle the tops with a lemon glaze. My cook time was also about 12-15 minutes.

I just made these cookies tonight and I love them! I used all the ingredients, however, my dough seemed a little wet so I put it in the freezer before cooking. I wasn't able to slice them as thin as Claire did on the show, but they still came out awesome. Instead of making sandwiches I layered the frosting on the cookie like an icing and they turned out great. The lemon flavor is king in this cookie - no imitation flavor lemon flavor needed - lol!

i tried making these cookies last weekend and wound having to do them as frosted cookies. i sliced them too thick. so, i have leftover dough in the fridge and will bake them again tonight because i will feel the urge to be domestic. i will slice them thinly, dust them with confectioners sugar and then, i am sure they will work out right.

These were pretty simple to make and if you make the cookies super thin, they taste EXACTLY like a slice of lemon pie! My only concern is that I wonder how to store these? It has cream cheese involved in the filling so maybe the fridge? I was going to give some away as gifts but decided against it because I wasn't sure about storage. Pretty tasty though.
