Very good. The balsamic and maple glaze makes these sweet potatoes. I took a risk in not making my husband's family favorite sweet potatoes from a can with lots of brown sugar and marshmallows. I received many compliments and they now have a new family favorite.

These are the BEST sweet potatoes I have ever had! I saw Giada make them on the video listed above. Took a while to find the recipe on this site. They will be a part of our Thanksgiving menu this year!

This is very yummy. Great new way to eat sweet potatoes. I used a local maple syrup, although not grade B, but it was still a perfect hot, sweet combination.

So good! I had sweet potatoes on hand and was looking for a new recipe- since i had everything in my kitchen ( except shallots- i subbed an onion it worked out perfectly. It wasn't too sweet and was easy to make! Even my boyfriend liked the dish = success

Grade B maple syrup has more maple flavor you can find it at Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and most health food stores.

This recipe is a great alternative to the same old mashed sweet potatoes that I make with cinnamon, butter, and a little cream. I made this recipe for our Christmas dinner and my whole family raved about them---even my husband who swore that he didn't like balsamic vinegar! This dish was easy to make yet fancy! I will definitely be making these again.

I made this the past two years for Thanksgiving to rave reviews. I always double the recipe and have more than enough (and lots of left overs! It's going to become a staple for sure! Like others, I couldn't find grade "B" syrup so I used grade "A" instead and it was great...sweet but not too sweet. I think any maple syrup will do as long as it's pure maple syrup.

Hubby loved it! Unfortunately, I couldn't find "B" maple syrup, but it was stil good. I used it on Thanksgiving with butternut squash, turnip, rutagbega & parsnips. It was a hit.

Soooo tasty! Followed the recipe exactly, and it was amazing! The maple syrup really gave it a nice smoky and sweet flavor. I am definitely going to make this again for the rest of the season!
