    I COULD NOT FIND MASCARPONE CHEESE AT MY GROCERY STORE, SO WE JUST SUBSTITUTED WHIP CREAM AND THEY WERE SO AWESOME. I AM SO MAKING THEM AGAIN! YOU ARE THE GREATEST CLAIRE!

    WOW! Saw the show a few days ago and just had to try it! What a simple and delicious treat! The dough was nice and crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The sugar coating did the trick. It gave it that sweet and salty take. The mascarpone added a silky and decadent texture to it. The sugar soaked strawberries gave the tart the added sweetness that is needed. The balsamic vinegar just took it over the top! Looked and tasted very gourmet! LOL
