Perfect for the holidays or anytime. The only change I made was to chop the pecans a little finer as my husband is in the middle of dentistry work and can't chew very well right now; but he LOVES/craves pecans. So this was a way he can enjoy these. It didn't change the taste at all!

Simply sensational!! I loved these bars! I made the recipe exactly as written, including all measurements and cooking times, and it worked perfectly. Yum!

Amazing!! I sprinkled some Ghiardelli chocolate chips over the top as soon as the bars came out of the oven. My guests raved over them!! I was asked to make them for a birthday party we are attending in two weeks!!

I made these a second time and changed the cook time - I cooked the crust for 20 minutes and then the whole thing for another 28 minutes and it came out PERFECT. Nothing was over or underdone. When baked for the right amount of time, these are to die for.

I made these yesterday for my ski trip and everyone LOVED them...sweet but not too sweet the flavor is awesome!!! I agree with the cook times so after reading reviews I lowered the cook time cooking the crust for 15 minutes it was nice and golden and then cooking the filling for 20 minutes and it came out perfect!!!

Excellent! Family loved them for Thanksgiving. Not too sweet but you could make them sweeter if you like.

Did food network bother to test this recipe? The pecan bars taste OK but the measurements are WAY off! Ina's recipe is more work but the work is well worth it...and her measurements are correct.
