This recipe was so easy and so delicious! I thought the gravy would be too sweet for my taste, but it was just right. The spatezel is the perfect bed for the pork and cider gravy. I will definitely be making this recipe again. It was a hit with my entire family!

Thank you Claire for a fabulous recipe. The picky eaters in my family couldn't get enough. It was the Hard Cider Gravy that won them over. I got the Hard Cider at Whole Foods, it was on display as I walked in the door!

To our Bucks County friend--if you have a package goods (read sells six packs that has a good selection, they should have some sort of hard cider. Ask for Woodchuck Cider--that is the brand that I used.

This pork roast was delicious--not being a pork lover at all! The gravy a perfect addition. Please, please try the Ricotta Thyme Spaetzle recipe that she made with this. If you enjoy doing something a little bit different, this is not too difficult and the end result is impressive and also wonderful.

This was a fun meal to make and everyone, including my picky elderly parents, loved it. The pork was moist and delicious, the gravy rocked and I impressed everyone with the super simple Spaetzle. Plus, BONUS, the collard greens were yummy, too. I always make them with bacon and onions and it great to have a meatless and healthy way to make them. Claire~I love your show!!!

Used pork cutlets instead and served it over egg noodles. The gravy turned out very nicely. Think I will use 1-1/2 apples next time and throw in some herbs like the other reviewers mentioned. A great fall dish!

This Pork Roast recipe is wonderful, I made this yesterday right after the show and used all of Claire's ingredients including the Hard Cider. I tossed in herbs from the garden (thyme, rosemary, sage. The best pork roast and gravy ever!!!! My husband is from Germany and a very good cook, he loved this meal! This is a keeper!!!!! Thanks Claire!

I had been looking for something to do with a pork roast I had in my freezer. This was it. Very tasty! The only change I made is that I would only use one apple. I used 1.5 medium sized apples and that was just about perfect. I'll be making this again but will only use one apple.
