I made this for a family dinner, and my father was skeptical about roasted tomatoes. I used a little more olive oil and a total roasting time of 25 minutes, and it was fantastic. The tomatoes just pop with flavor and the garlic was perfect for the garlic fans. This was so easy, and Dad loved it, too!

Yum! This was so easy to make and delicious! A nice simple side dish. I'll try the balsamic next time, as someone suggested!

This recipe is so simple but so good. I love this new show, especially with the economy nowadays.
Marsha, you have no idea what you are talking about. You have rated almost every recipe from this segment with 1 star and also claimed that all other reviews are from Claire's friends or family. Have you even made these recipes?? I don't think so. Get off your high horse!

For those of us who work everyday and want to prepare home cooked nutritional meals for our family this is terrific. The meals are simple, nutritious as well as hearty for men in my family. At least when I come home from working and attending classes my family will be able to enjoy a home cooked meal. I would give Claire Robinson 10 stars if I could. Thank you for providing recipes that are delicious, simple and that are all homemade. Thank you again. Debbie

I am not a huge tomato fan, but something about this on your show was very appealing to me. What a terrific surprise!! It has the flavor of a delicious sauce but with texture and meatiness. It could not be easier. Like other reviewers, I plan to experiment with subtle changes. I was a little confused with what to expect at the first 20 minutes and then at the end, but as with any recipe, you planted the seed and we will all make our own personal changes to it. I have made this 3 times and dont recall ever being addicted to a vegetable dish like this.

Tried this recipe for the 1st time today, I used about twice the olive oil she recommended, which meant eliminating the water step (and they cooked in about half the time and I also added a splash of balsamic vinegar - YUM!

I've made this 3 times and find it addictive, and I've never been a fan of cooked tomatoes. I used one carton of grapes, probably halved the recipe and salted to my taste. I keep adding more and more garlic each time I make it. The garlic turns out mellow and sweet and the dish looks gorgeous with everything tinged golden brown. I may add a pinch of oregano sometime to vary it a little. The bonus is how unbelievably easy it is to throw together. It really looks good enough for a magazine presentation cover. I can't wait to try more of Claire's recipes.

Like the first reviewer, my wife and I also saw Claire do this recipe today and tried it tonight. In spite of my wife's wishes, I followed the recipe as written. It was too salty and peppery. Overall we liked it; the tomatoes looked and smelled great coming out of the oven. We'll do this recipe again reducing the salt and pepper and expect to review this rating to five stars. We love the concept of this program and plan to try more recipes.

This is a wonderful side dish. Saw you prepare it this morning with the steak and creamed spinach. Made it all for dinner and will do it again to impress someone other than my husband. He kept praising the complete meal as a "definite keeper". Good luck with your show and will begin to tape it so as not to miss one episode.
So young and such a polished chef!!!
