A tasty, sticky mess. We added shrimp and scallops, sauteed in garlic EVOO, but everything just sat on top of the welded pasta mound. SOMETHING'S wrong with this recipe or Clare never would have said that you'll never do your pasta any other way. My wife made this after seeing the show and remembers Clare sauteeing the angel hair first. Sauteeing would change the starch structure before the moisture is added, probably resulting in less stickiness. Just a thought. (Wouldn't be the first time Food Network published a recipe wrong.

My husband and I followed this recipe as it was written. The angel hair pasta turned into one mess of mush. I was glad I hadn't added my home grown grape tomatoes or the cheese. I made pasta the old fashion way and topped it the tomatoes and cheese and that was good. Pasta does not cook like rice.

The flavor of this dish was good, except I would probably substitute a different cheese next time for my personal taste preference. And my noodles were also a bit sticky, and I had to add extra broth to prevent them from being in a glob. I had to make fast work of the noodles, so next time, I will boil the noodles, then add everything together. It was just a bit more involved than I expected.

I was so excited to try this recipe when I saw it on tv. I was so disappointed :-( I substituted smoked gouda for the smoked mozzarella which was pretty much the only tasty part of the recipe. The noodles were dry and stuck together even after constantly stirring and adding additional broth. I possibly might try the recipe again only I would boil the angel hair pasta.

I thought this would make a nice side dish. However, made it as a main weekday meal. What an amazing surprise!!! The roasted tomatoes, smoked mozzerella, and tangled pasta was over the top delicious!!! I added some garlic chives purchased from our local organic farm and it was a perfect addition. Will make over and over again!!!

My wife and I liked this alot. I followed the suggestion and added fresh basil. After completing the dish, my wife liked it as is, but I thought it needed a bit more salt and pepper. You may also want more than a drizzle of the garlic infused olive oil. Needless to say, mine did not look nearly as pretty and presentable as Ms. Robinson's, but was still pretty tasty.

I used 4 cups of broth instead of Claire's 3 cups because it looked too dry and stiff as it was cooking. The dish turned out to be very dense and heavy to eat. Very sticky too. Tasty though, I have to say but not a light summery dish at all, which is what I thought it was going to be. I will not be making this again as I think the method of cooking pasta in broth increases the starchiness. Sorry, Claire, but I do love your show.

Mine is not a review, because I am going to make it tonight. I saw the episode and I thought that I remembered seeing Claire "saute" the noodles before she added the broth. I am right? Didn't she brown the noodles a little like fried rice before she added the broth?

Very fast & tasty dish to make when your short on time! I added Orgeno to the pasta right before I add the tomatoes and cheese. And I will probably add some diced grilled chicken bites to it next time too. But SO YUMMY!! Definatly will make this one again! Thanks Claire!!

P.S. I didn't cook my spaghetti the way she did. I did it normally but I added a little chicken cube to the stock and I could still taste the flavor on the noodles. It was eaiser to do and less of a hassle for me!

I made this recipe, but used a good parmesean instead of smoked mozzarella (I am not a fan of smoked cheeses added a few tablespoons if butter at end (instead of the olive oil because I did not want it too garlicky and a healthy dose of salt and pepper. And I used spaghetti instead of angel hair because I like a little thicker of a pasta. Came out perfectly!
