Claire, Claire, Claire . . . . great recipe! We loved it. I did some w/ parm & some w/ extra sharp cheddar; used granulated garlic; I usually make the hasselback potatoes, but not any more. Awesome by themselves or with a grilled steak.

O'my gosh. So good and very tasty. I plan to share with the family.
The potato has been taken to another level. I love the parmesan and and would not change it.

These were great and easy to make. These will be great as a party appetizer. I used sharp cheddar instead of the parmigiano- Reggiano, and chives instead of the scallions....Delicioso!!!! I cover the smooth side of my meat mallet with foil to smashed the potatoes....I had no problem. My husband and son loved them. I will definitely make these again.

These were excellent. I did have a little trouble smashing them down. When I added the cheese, I added a few pieces of oscar meyer bacon bits - yum! Thanks for the great recipe. I will definitely make these again

Very tasty potatoes, though I have no idea how she mashed them up and kept them in neat little pancakes - mine were a mess. They still tasted great though and we topped with light sour cream and scallions.

This is a really good recipe and I will definitely make it again! I saw the show this morning and kept getting interupted but got the basics. My husband loved it! Very easy and tasty. I wasn't able to look up the recipe first and went by memory. I used Mozzarella cheese and some applewood smoked bacon bits that I added at the end and put it under the broiler for about 3 minutes. Very versatile recipe!

Yummy!! I followed the cooking recipe, then topped the smashed potatoes with shredded cheddar jack cheese, Breakstone's sour cream with jalapenos, and some sliced scallion. Delish!!! We will have these often!!!
