This was very easy to make and tasted supremely wonderful. My three year old devoured it.

I didn't have garlic olive oil, so I just added garlic to the dish. Adding the roasted tomatoes made all the difference, and a little shredded cheese on top in the end isn't a bad move either.

I took the advice of the other posts and roasted onions with the tomatoes. I only had 1 can of tomatoes but I had a can of Progresso tomato soup. I added the bread at the end but the bread was jalepeno and cheese foccacia bread! Amazing! My husband said this isn't good it's amazing!

I found this soup to be a great winter "warmer-upper" but the tomato/acidity was almost overwhelming. I tried it a second time and sauteed onions with the basil to give it some sweetness to cut the acidity. Wonderful. Or you can just add a little sugar.

I thought this was good, I love the bread in it! You could tweak it however you want for flavor but as a basic soup I liked it. Even my daughter who hates tomatoes ate it and thought it was good. I'm going to double the recipe and make it for a pot luck dinner next week.

A little boring and too mushy. I think it requires more ingredients such as onions and possibly other veggies to be better. It is so thick it can almost be used as a spread instead of soup. Its good if you want something quick and easy.

This soup tastes a lot like spaghetti sauce. If you like dabbing up remaining spaghetti sauce when eating pasta, this soup is what you want.
