Went to a Wine and Whine party with lots of ladies...these little short breads made everyone forget about their worries. Wonderful...a perfect blend of sweet and savory.

These were savory, but slighty sweet! They were a big hit! I think they would be excellent for a cocktail party.

I made this for a recent get together with friends and everyone loved the shortbread!

Made these cookies for a new year's eve nogfest and they are wonderful! I'm a big shortbread fan anyway, but the additions of the savory components made these cocktail party worthy. A warning....be careful taking them off the cookie sheet. They're so buttery that three of mine slid to the floor and practically shattered. They're too dear to lose!

Don't change a thing. We thought this was one of the best blend of savory and sweet we'd ever had. The flavors really bounce around on the palate. I didn't feel the rosemary and cheese took a backseat to the sugar. They worked perfectly together.

When I saw Claire on the Today show with this recipe I could not resist. I have a rosemary plant and always have fresh parmesan on hand. So I thought I would give it a try. I was concerned about the 1 cup of powdered sugar but since I am not always successful at improvising recipes I decided to use it at least for the first try. They taste wonderful. I understand why the sugar is there because the parm is really salty and you get that sweet and salty flavor. But I am so crazy about rosemary and parmesan that I would leave the sugar out next time I make these to get that really savory flavor.

I liked these, however I think I would have loved them if I left out the sugar. If you want more of a cookie, leave the recipe as is. If you would like a savory taste please take it out. I was dissapointed, and my family did not eat them up because of the weird sugar taste.

My friends and I could't stop eating them! Granted we had quite a few glasses of champagne around midnight... but they truly were the best little party favor. Super easy to make too. I just used the fake "parmesan" cheese in the green can and splurged on the fresh rosemary, which was only about $2.50 at my supermarket. Great sweet/savory combo! I'll try real parmiggiano someday...

These were really good- but the price is a little high for the payoff. I used thyme rather than rosemary- and was good. I think the sugar was a nice touch. I have no idea why everyone else is losing it over the sugar.
