So if this is a twist on some northern italy favorite it is NOT a copy it is their own creation (twist. I have served to several guests and even my grandsons like it.

Fraud? If you watch her show, she does not include salt and pepper in her 5 because they are basics.

I really don't know why it matters whether this was done by Claire or some other well known chef. It's a great recipe and I don't think Claire claimed it was her very own original recipe! I love watching Claire cook!

This is a twist on an old Northern Italy favorite. Not Claire's or Ina's creation. Try this with the asparagus grilled rather than cooked via oven, sunny side up eggs rather than scrambled and absolutely add parmesan. ...And garlic butter crusty bread.

Ina Garten made this exact same recipe in 2007, except she added some parmesan to the asparagus--nothing wrong with that! If the network welcomes new chefs, shouldn't they have new ideas?

I don't know who originated this recipe (I'm sure it wasn't either of these women, so I gave it the 5 stars because it is delicious--they say you can tell a chef from the way they prepare eggs.

Claire is rapidly becoming my favorite chef! These eggs are really wonderful, the asparagus delicious. I'll be making this again. It's easy, not too expensive, and definitely good.
