I made these to go with the prime rib on 7-20-09, they were very good and very easy.I will make them again the next time. Good for anyone that wants to add a bit of class to a plain dinner but be really simple about it.

Mine came out a little denser then it was suppose to. I think maybe cause i didnt know to leave it in the oven for 5 more minutes on off. I am not much of a cook, but I likes it and my who tryed it likes it. Instead of fat renderings i made it with a little sugar and toped it with chocolate cook and serve pudding. We dont eat much meat. My 6 and 7 yr olds liked it alot to. Thanx. I am gonna try it the way the online recipe calls for and hopefully it will come out right.

Being a cooking buff, I constantly have the food network playing in the background while doing housework, playing with the puppy, cooking, or even playing a video game. Occasionally, a technique or recipe will catch my ear and I become transfixed, as was the case with this updated twist on an old classic. I never thought of the muffin pan before and it was just as good as usual. THE MUFFINS FALL EVERY TIME I HAVE MADE THEM THIS WAY. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT I'M DOING WRONG. I've done them verbatim to the recipe and even tried adjusting the cooking times. IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS PROBLEM??? HELP!!!

I like other cooking shows, but I do get tired of the long lists of exotic ingredients that I often can't find or afford. It doesn't always make things better. Love the idea of this show, 5 ingredients. Enjoyed watching Claire demonstrate the recipes- I could follow her just fine. I made this recipe pretty close to the written directions. I did spray the muffin tins with oil, I added 1/2 tbsp. sugar to the batter, and the yorkshire puddings cooked for 17.5 minutes/plus the 5 minutes with the oven turned off. These had great flavor and texture and I will definitely make them again. This recipe is very similar to my recipe for 'dutch babies' which is a sweet version for breakfast. That recipe uses heated butter in the bottom of an oven hot pan. I'm guessing any fat would work, depends on the flavor you want. Honestly, these didn't even need the gravy they are great all by themselves.

We too watched the show Sat morning and made immediate plans to have friends over and try the entire dinner on Sunday. Having never had Yorkshire pudding, we had no idea what to expect. They were wonderful! We will definitely make again for a special occassion meal. The addition of the Thyme is realy key... be sure to use fresh thyme....I have no idea why the one reader thought they lacked flavor. Possibly she did not use the drippings from the prime rib as called for. Greasy? No way! Again, her cut of meat must have been off is all I can imagine. The prime rib roast seared and then cooked in a dutch oven was brilliant.. the best prime rib ever!

Move over old recipe and hello "Thyme for Yorkshire Pudding"! I love yorkshire pudding but could never really make it right until now. The thyme and the pan drippings added so much to the flavor. I had to have extra helpings of the pudding along with the gravy, they were so delicious. I liked using the muffin tin to have individual servings. They looked great right out of the oven!

Whenever I have made this dish it doesn't look pretty and is so tricky to serve. I LOVE putting them in a muffin pan. They're so cute on the table and extra delicious in smaller servings. Great idea!!! Thanks- Keep it up!!

This recipe was fairly simple to make, but it lacked flavor. It tasted a bit like bread, flavorless bread, not to mention they were very greasy. I made this for dinner last night, and nobody liked them, I ended up throwing all of the leftovers away. I will not make this recipe again.
