I really enjoyed the program last Friday with your good friend Latina. I am glad to see that you were able to help her to be as comfortable in front of the camera as --you are all the time.
I appreciated that the meal seemed healthy, was colorful and that you gave stage time to the supreme fruit of the day - coconut. Thanks for genuinely sharing your cheery, professional, girly-girl style. May you reign supreme in your field.

Do not understand the rave reviews. Cinnamon was overpowering, absolutely zero coconut flavor. If you want a coconut flan, definitely eliminate the cinnamon.

This was really good flan...very smooth and creamy. The flan just plopped out of my pie pan without even loosening it. The baking time was exact for me. In the oven, it looks like the flan is not cooked at all because it jiggles a lot BUT touch the middle to see if it is set. I thought that the flan tasted better when refridgerated after it was done. It tastes better cold, kind of like a custard.

I never liked flan until i saw Sunny make this recipe on her show. Its absolutly wonderful and very wasy to modify to taste or to even change the recipe all together. I find that adding a little brandy or cognac to the mix gives the flan a great twist.

Everyone loved it! The custard was as smooth as silk. I don't know what the problem was but I had to cook it about 20 longer than the recipe said. Thank goodness it didn't seem to affect the outcome. Anyone else have an issue with the timing? Definitely will do again!
