Collard Greens

Ingredients
  • 4 slices bacon, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 pound collard greens, trimmed, washed and thinly chopped
  • Dash sugar
  • Salt
Directions

Render bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.

To rapidly boiling water add collard greens, sugar and salt. Cook until tender. Drain and toss with bacon
