I made this yesterday, and we loved it. The only thing that I did diffrent was that I made my own pie crust. And I used frozen blueberrys. And I do not have a dutch oven so I used a 9x13 pan and made a tripple batch, and I also let it cool for 2.5 hours. I think that made it thicken up...

I have not tried to make this recipe yet, but it looks like it would be good as a pie. I have lived in the south all my life and I think I am a pretty good cook, but I have never seen a cobbler with a pie crust on it. Every cobbler I have seen or cooked has the breading mixed in with the fruit not a crust on top. Like I said it looks good but it is a pie not a cobbler.

It was definitely easy, especially when i bought a roll of pie crust. However, I am going to look for some other fruity dessert to bring to Christmas Day dinner. It was far, far too runny, and really didn't have any particular taste other than a blueberry/peach cocktail taste! I found it a tiny bit tart, but with ice or whipped cream, it would probably be perfect. The crust was ok, but I wanted more crust, or some kind of crunch to it. I would recommend putting tin foil over the edges for the last 20 minutes or so, and adding some cornstarch, tapioca, or more flour/cinnamon/etc. mix to it. While it was quite easy, unfortunately, I doubt I'll use it again. Just very disappointing, I'm afraid.

This was really easy and it tasted great. I agree it was a little running, but I served it with vanilla ice cream and it was a great hit.

Tastes really good and the store-bought pie crust made it quick and easy, but it seemed way too runny. I'd try it again, but does it need some cornstarch or something to thicken up the fruit?

The first time i made it was after watching Sunny's show where she made the stuffed pork chops. I decided that day to make the meal as she did and invited my neighbors for dinner. This cobbler is so easy to make that I regulated the task to my oldest son whenever we have it.

I agree with Natalie - it sounded like it was going to be great, but it was in fact awful. It was very watery, and wasn't at all what I was expecting. The taste was also too tart and bitter for me. This was the first time that I made one of Sunny's recipes, so I have nothing else to compare it to of hers. I find that you can never go wrong with Alton Brown's or Ina Garten's recipes...they always turn out well.

We did a little spin on this receipe in my house. We used blackberries instead of blueberries. it was great, and even better the next day. I like it because it is simple and it looks like you did a lot of work! Keep up the good work, Sunny!

I have made this cobbler several times and everytime it turns out fabulous. I didn't have sugar cubes, so I just sprinkled sugar on top. Excellent!!!

I was expecting this to be amazing because of the reviews but when I took it out of the oven the fruit was just swimming in liquid. I followed every instruction so I'm guessing it's from the water in the frozen peaches. The taste was alright, a little too tart for me though.
