Great easy recipe, I believe the onions should be diced instead os sliced but that's just my opinion. Next time I may add a thickener to the sauce.

This is a quick main dish to make when I am relying on pantry staples. I have used frozen blueberries and canned diced tomatoes (drained.
The key is to thoroughly carmelize the onions, andthen to cook the sauce on high heat at the end to reduce it. A swirl of butter at the end also enriches the sauce.
I made it again tonight and added lemon zest and a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice . It really perked up the flavor.

I have been making this for two years now. I make the sauce for all sorts of roast meats - including bonelss pork loin and roast chicken, too. Next up will be duck I think. We love the flavors. Very different with port than with sherry. Quick, easy and impresses friends and family. Highly recommend.

I saw all of the great reviews on this recipe, so I figured I'd give it a try. It really was not good. It was quite bland, and given the ingredients, I thought that would be nearly impossible. It was edible, but I felt like I wasted perfectly good blueberries and tomatoes on this. I definitely won't make this again.

This was a unique but delicious flavor combination, and was very quick and easy to make. I loved it! Only complaint was the sauce was more like blueberries and onions in juice; there wasn't anything to thicken it. Next time, I'd add flour after caramelizing the onion so that it thickens. Great overall though!

I had a bunch of blueberries I didn't know what to do with and I came upon this recipe. When I read the ingredients list I hesitated, but I read the reviews and figured what the heck. WOW!!!! A simple, fantastic recipe! Served it for my fiancee and she just loved it! My expectations weren't that high, so when it turned out great, all the better! VERY tasty!!!

Superb sauce, I ate the pork tenderloin with a vegetable rice. Next time I will try to add some berries like rasberries...
