Haha! This recipe is amazing! My home town is Tewksbury, and a lot of people refer to these cookies as "Tewksbury Tweets" because they were so popular. The school cafeterias used to make them, but because of new regulations over food allergies, they seldom make them anymore.

I also would suggest that for a nice veriation, try adding raisins to them. That's the way my Mom's always made them, and how I make them myself. Happy cooking!

Great no bakes. I have been making these for years from my ex mother-in-law's recipe and this one is much better.

They are quick and easy to do and only takes minutes. My mom and aunt used to cook them for me and my cousins when i was little and know i am pasting it on for my kids. Thank you for the recipe.

I remember my grandmother making these and my mother and now I make them for my family and we love them. If you love chocolate and peanut butter then these will be a great tradition for your family, they are very easy for the little bakers in the house also.Enjoy

My friend's mother used to make these when we were kid's(50+ years ago. Another adult friend's daughter called them "Tewksbury Tweets" after the town the lived in. When my grown son ventured out on his own, this was one of the recipes he asked me to give him.
