When I read the directions and read that put the most into the mold, stop reading and I figured it was business as usual to put the pan in the oven like any cake .... and when I returned to read quietly, I realized that steam was {. But my surprise was great when I take the time and was perfect and delicious. I don't know if I wrote correctly, because i speak and write spanish!!!

This is more like a banana bread. It really needs some kind of frosting as it's not all that sweet. It could use some nuts also. I do love the way it's cooked. Steaming a cake is totally new to me but it really worked well. Be careful though, it is easy to burn yourself.

I was a little worried about steaming a cake, but this came out moist and delish, I added milk choc. chips and pecans and that made it even better!!

I halved the recipe because I don't like making too much only 2 of us. It was great! I used a glass pyrex dish and it came out wonderful. Very moist. I have made it twice and the second time I added chocolate chips and it was even better.

This is easy to make and the steaming method adds a lightness that can only be accomplished through this method. I added chopped walnuts for a crunchy texture and used less than one cup of rapadura sugar instead of white sugar. Also, I substituted flaked oats for quarter cup of the white flour. I never follow recipes exactly!!
