I made this for a 2012 Olympic party due to the London location and it was amazing!!! I did like another reviewer suggested and put light brown sugar in place of granulated sugar and dark brown sugar in the sauce in place of light brown sugar. It was delicious, rich and I will definitely be making it again!

I have had many sticky toffee puddings in England and just had to learn how to make it here in the States. I will say this is very authentic, delicious and decadent. Not one thing would I change. I'm drooling just thinking of it, so may have to make it again soon!!!

I found this recipe online after seeing an episode of "The Best Thing I Ever Ate," and after rave reviews from my family at Christmas dinner, I modified the recipe ever so slightly by adding flour to make the cake a little sturdier for mini cupcakes. I filled the cupcakes with the toffee sauce, topped them with a Swiss meringue vanilla butter cream frosting, and won first prize AND bakers' choice award in a cupcake competition! Although I wonder if I can improve on perfection, the next batch will have salted chopped pecans sprinkled on top as another reviewer suggested. This is one of the best dessert recipes I have ever made!

Had a SMALL portion of sticky toffee pudding in a very nice restaurant for lunch the other day and HAD to let my husband try it.

I searched for a recipe and found this one had the highest reviews.

Definitely not the easiest dessert you'll ever make (I'm more of a cook than baker, but it's definitely delicious!!!!

My husband who isn't even as big a fan of desserts as I am, is in the kitchen getting seconds! YAY - so worth the effort.

I fell in love with the Haagen Dazs sticky toffee pudding ice cream flavor and then they took it off the shelf. SInce then, I have seized every opportunity to order it when a restaurant offers it. I was so pleased to find this recipe when I did a search. I followed the recipe to the letter and it came out perfect. It was super easy and a hit!

One great addition is to add coffee (or use in place of to the water that the dates are soaked in. It gives a depth of flavor that works well in this dish. I discovered STP while on holiday in Scotland and this is a great recipe.

This is one of my favorite recipes ever! This was easy to make and so good, my family loved it also. I served mine with a bourbon whipped cream. When I make this again I am also going to try sprinkling some salted chopped pecans on for serving.
