    You've got to be kidding!. That's a good beginning but how about adding some 'interest' like kosher salt, fresh ground pepper, a tiny bit of red pepper flakes and the juice of 1/2 a lemon. Also great is adding the raw corn kernels from one cob to add some color and sweetness. Now your really cookin!

    I did everything the recipe said but added red pepper flakes and a little cayenne pepper. Very good! I served it with I think Giada's Parmasian Chicken (great crust and Melissa's Roasted Broccoli, Yum-o!! I used the beets for Guys Beet and Goat Cheese salad my first encounter with beets and my husband and father hate beets but loved they loved the salad! Thanks food network!

    Easy, healthy, and tasty! I browned the garlic until crispy & left it in the pan with excellent results.

    I used baby beet greens from our garden and cooked the stems first then threw the greens on top for a minute. Everyone loved them, even my 11 year old son!
