So I liked this recipe as is but I changed it later to fit my taste. Instead of 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, I add about a Tablespoon of my favorite BBQ sauce. I also use a sweet and spicy relish to save on prep time instead of chopping 2 ribs celery, sweet pickles, red bell pepper and 2 scallions. The BBQ sauce helps to bring all the flavors of our cook out together and the relish adds heat, which I love.

We love this one. So yummy for summer BBQs. I actually don't even add the buttermilk, just use the mayo and dijon but even without it is so great. I also use sweet relish instead of pickles so i don't need to chop. The only mac salad we make anymore.

I made this without the ham and used light mayo. I served it as a side dish. Yum! Only four of us eating tonight, and there was only a little left! A definite keeper.

This salad tastes light even with all the mayonaise. I added a bit of shredded cheese for a nice texture. I even think it was thick enough and good without the ham!

This is the only macaroni salad I know of that was brought to a picnic and the people there actually ate more of than the potato salad, which was also good.

I like the dressing. No sugar or vinegar, its sweet enough with just the pickles. Yummy!

Using frozen green beans was such a great shortcut without sacrificing taste. Recipe was easy and quick enough for my husband to make! Everyone at our daughter's daycare Thanksgiving potluck loved it--it was gone in seconds!
