You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 banana, sliced thin (also good with apples, pears, or peaches)
  • 2 pats butter
  • 2 teaspoons lemon or orange juice
  • 1 or 2 slices French toast
  • Maple syrup,(optional), heated in microwave
  • Additional cinnamon and sugar mixture, if desired

Directions

In a bowl combine cinnamon and sugar. Add sliced fruit, butter and juice. Microwave until butter melts and mixture is hot. Stir until fruit slices are covered with the sauce. Pour fruit mixture over French toast. Add maple syrup or sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar on top, if you like

    This did not taste right to us, it was very thick and very rich. We followed the recipe word for word but it just didn't taste good.

    Unfortunately this did not turn out for me. It was over thick. The only word that described it from both my husband and myself -different... perhaps I missed a main component of the recipe -don't think so though.

    I don't cook a lot, but this recipe seemed very easy so I tried it. It was amazing. I'm tired of syrup and powdered sugar, and this was a superb alternative.
