Great recipe if you use 1 cup of lemon juice instead of two it comes out just like the restaurant.

Lemon sauce finger licking good! This was good but found the chicken to be a little bland the next time I will season chicken with salt, pepper and a little garlic before broiling. Even so it was delicious I will be making this again. Thanks.

Everyone is right on! This is delicious. Been making it for years from Rao's cookbook, but am now wintering in FLA and did not have book with me. So glad I found it on your website. I'm making it today for Christmas dinner, after Lasagne. I know it will be enjoyed.

I like some of the other reviews here remember the first time I saw this prepared on Martha Stewart's program. It was just before Rao's went commercial with it's sauces and cookbook. Since that time I have made this dish no less then 100 times. All my family and freinds always ask if I can make this for them again. It is a wonderful recipe!!!!!!
P.S. The bottled Rao's marinara sauce is the best sauce you can buy period........

I, too, saw this on Martha Stewart years ago and have been making it since. For a real treat, try cooking the chicken on a charcoal grill instead of a broiler. I butterfly the chicken and then cook on a two zone grill (all coals on one side for about 30 minutes per side moving the chicken as necessary from the hot to the cool side of the grill. That ensures the chicken doesn't burn. Enjoy!

First time I made this it rocked our socks!! Unbelievable! Best chicken you'll ever have. If you like tasty, juicy, succulent, lemony flavored, lip licken, tongue smackin, mind blowin chicken then make it. If you don't like all the above, too bad for you!

Made this for the first time tonight. It was amazing. After reading previous reviews I added the juice of half an orange and a teaspoon of honey. This took the acidic edge off but still allowed the lemon flavor to come shining through. Yum!!!

I've been making this recipe for years (love the Raos Cookbook. It works as written, making lots of sauce. It's easy to make for company and an oft-requested recipe for family get-togethers. Would highly recommend it.
