My wife made this last night, and it was one of the most authentic Thai dishes that either of us have ever eaten! We have traveled through Thailand, and Southeast Asia and China many times and both cook a great many Asian dishes, and both agreed that the flavors and textures in this dish were excellent. The preparation is extensive, but don't cut corners and follow the recipe as written for a true taste of Thailand!

This is one DELICIOUS recipe, however it is incredibly time consuming. Three sauces (four if you count the poaching liquid for the chicken and all those vegetables being chopped and diced is a great deal of work, luckily it pays off as the meal is top notch!

Didnt think a cold salad could be so good! Loved it, the best was the spicy dressing!

This salad is SO good. However! Give yourself enough prep time because with all the slicing and dicing, it is quite time consuming. Everyone at my dinner party loved it. I also made the Thai Shrimp w/Red Curry Sauce (also on Foodnetwork.com and the combo was perfect!

This dish is incredible. It has so much flavour and is visually stimulating as well. Unfortunately, I'm not able to make it often because it is fairly time consuming to create. An excellent dish for a dinner party though!

The only thing I used from this recipe was the marinade... and it was fantastic! I didn't have time to do everything so I mixed up the marinade & put some chicken breasts and marinade in to a zip-lock baggie and let it rest for about 30 mins and then baked the chicken in the oven. Yummy.
